Poor food and entertainment

The location of the hotel is the first problem. Set on a steep hill, its impossible to walk anywhere and the nearest town is a good 20 minute bus ride away. Even the beach took 10 minutes to get to by bus. The staff varied in their friendliness. Some of the younger waiters would be friendly and cheerful whilst others were rude and abrupt. Those on reception spoke and understood little English and were very rude on every occasion.
The food is its biggest problem. Despite the fact that it is often cold, it is far too adventerous for young children and teens like myself who want simple, tasty and filling food.
Several people i talked to had food posioning and one girl was taken to hospital. I spent the week with stomach cramps and found out on the last day that even the water couldnt be trusted, as we expected it was straight from the tap.
Finally, the entertainment organised was poor and repetitive and overall nearly all of the people staying at the hotel at the same time as me could not wait to go home.

very good holiday

We left on 7th August and my family had a great time, the hotel was clean, good turkish food and friendly staff. The only down side was the lack of sun beds, which had all been taken by 7am and the very slippy area around the pool and of course a small minority of our fellow english.
There were some people complaining of upset stomaches and going out to eat what they called "british food", burgers and chips steak and the like. The upset stomaches didnt seem to be affected by the free booze and the burgers at the pool snack bar and there seemed to be a lot of talk about compensation, people taking photos of the food and gathering statements from people at the hotel.
we had no problems and will be going back again. If you want a lively party type holiday then this is not for you. The hotels on a hillside and has lots of stairs so if your unfit or have mobility problems its not for you. Its not near any major town, Theres a free bus down to the beach and the village of Gumsluck and the Dolmus runs every 20 mins to Bodrum and other towns.
We saw the reviws after we had booked a late deal, make your own mind up and consider why the hotel is full, why the resteraunt is full evey meal time and why it was only a small majority of people, all english, who complained constantly demanding english food. Im not sure telling a turkish waiter that you have a friend that works for the Sun is going to help you get some money back, which from what I witnessed seamed to be the main objective.
For a relaxed holiday, this is ideal as long as you dont get involved with the pack that turn complining in to a holiday sport. It depends what you want from a holiday as to if this hotel and its location is for you.

The hotel was nice the staff ok some were a bit miserable but the food was really poor and alot of the holidaymakers got ill and some taken to hospital. I came home with food poisoning and the rest of my family I went with was ill too which spoiled our holiday. Would not advise anyone to go there.

i spent a week with my family which was a week to long. The food and service was not adequate we had to eat out every day, the nearest town was 40 minutes away. My son had to sleep on a camp bed I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. please think very carefully before booking as you will be very dissapointed when you get there.

AWFUL HOTEL!

To save money, they have put TAP WATER in the mineral water dispensers. Most suites have 1 sick member and many including my 8 yr old daughter need to visit hospital for diarrhea/vomiting.

A sewer leaks into the garden by the kids play area and the smell is awful. To prevent further illness, my kids are not allowed play there.

Alcohol is served to all ages. My 11 year old son was served 3 vodkas and got very sick. When I complained I was told it was not the hotels job to stop children drinking alcohol. However, today no-one is being given more than small glasses of coke as we are "drinking too much coke".

The staff get proper bottled water for their own use - separate from what we have to drink. They say the hotel service doesn't require bottled water for guests but that the staff insist on it for themselves as the tap water makes people sick.

Worst hotel I have ever been in and I have been in a few. Mainly for the awful attitude of the staff and the sickness.

Advertised as a 5* when it is actually a 4* but doesn't even reach a 3*! A fresh sewage smell every 20 minutes as the breeze drifts it up. Meant to be 20km from Bodrum, mmmmmmmm try a 45min Dolmus drive. food where do I start with it, how about food poisoning and sharing food with bugs and flies and if you like boiled chicken and rice pudding rice to go with it you will be find at this hell hole in the middle of no where.

Food-well its turkey so expect the local cuisine not fish and chips etc. Very good range of food, just be open minded and try everything.

Location- fantastic views, you can watch the sun setting every night. The hotel arranged a brilliant boat trip for us and we used that company to organise a trip to the water park were they picked us up and dropped us of for little extra cost.

Rooms- maybe a bit small but you don't go on holiday to sit in the bedroom do you? It was clean and had air con, bathroom was good.

Staff- very friendly, chatty and helpful. We met some really nice English people as well

I would highly recommend the massage and Turkish bath. Excellent value for money

Overall the only thing I would complain about is the lack of umbrellas and the pool. I has a brilliant time and would go again.

Not exactly as promised. We found no problem with the food. Usual Mediterranean food. Beach area [no sand] but lovely to swim from the jetty. Staff mainly great. Our room was very clean and no leaks, floods etc as others seem to have had. I did notice that people incited each other as to the quality of things, which did not help. We had a good holiday and quite frankly from what we paid, we couldn't have stayed at home for the same amount. The sunshine was great. Yes there were a few flies around, but you get them everywhere in summer where windows are open etc.
