We had an amazing time, made great friends. All the staff made it an enjoyable and relaxing experience. Great surroundings and views, its a truly beautiful place to stay. The rooms were very well kept, they were basic but everything you needed. Very clean and tidy. I loved every minute of my stay at Club Sardunya and Petunya. I would go back tomorrow! Our whole experience there was amazing and we're planning on going back soon!

When we arrived, there was a mix up with the rooms and had to wait for a change, but after that not to bad. If you just look at the hotel for somewhere to sleep it's ok. The setting is not bad as you are right on the sea front and there are local shops and restaurants. The food in the hotel isn't that bad, a bit repetative than most Turkish hotel buffets are. There was 6 in our party, 4 adults and 2 children aged 11 & 5. The kids club caters only for the Dutch kids, but then the hotel had a lot of Dutch staying there who were pleasant. Hotel staff very nice and helpful. To eat out, we would recommend Jimmy's, good food and very cheap. What I would say to people going there is take mosquito spray as there are plenty there. Overall we would go back again as the setting is good.

The standard of accomodation was basic, as we had expected, for the star rating and the price we had paid, however it had everything we required and was very clean. The staff in the restaurants and bars could not have been more welcoming and willing to please. Unfortunately we had arrived 3 weeks before the end of their season and the management had already decided that it was over! One of the swimming pools had been closed, together with the pool bar. The chef was obviously using up all his leftovers, the food lacked variety and quality. On a number of mornings there was no butter. For a number of days the electrically heated soup container gave off an electric shock when using the soup ladle to serve yourself - the remedy for this was to unplug it, consequently the soup was, more often than not, luke warm. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone, certainly not towards the end of the season, because if this is your only holiday you deserve better than this.

Worst hotel ever

It all started when we arrived in this hotel. The sheets on the bed had a lot of blood spots. We asked new sheets and received them, but with a couple of holes of 30 cm. "But better holes then blood": we thought. The next day our clean (with holes) sheets were gone and replaced by one 1-person sheet for 2 persons. We took by ourself an extra sheet in the laundry room. The window was half covered with something that could be a curtain. The shower had a lot of green fungi. Everybody get sick from the food. When we have eaten somewhere else we were much better. On another day our door was forced and had another key. Nobody of the reception told us what happened. After we received a new key we experienced that our door was forced and the bathroom door was broken. My girlfriend was locked inside the bathroom and I could only free her from outside. Lucky that I was outside. And I almost forget the horrible smell in the room and the hallway: it smells like something died there. Conclusion: Don't go there.

We have just returned from the Petunya and it was the worst holiday we have ever had. THE FOOD. We ate out at least once every day the food was that bad. We didnt know what we were eating as nothing had a label on and was luke warm to cold. For five days there was no butter and when the hotel finally got some it was rancid. We also ate what the flies left as nothing was covered up. THE ROOM. The room was a single room made into a double by adding a bed My husband and I couldn't stand up together it was so smallOn our first night the bidet ran consantly and we were unable to sleep .It was repaired the next day but then water seeped from the toilet and we spent two days with an inch of water on the bathroom floor. As my husband has walking difficulties I spent that time worrying incase he slipped. When we arrived it took reception over an hour to allocate our rooms and as there were only three parties it was a long time. There was NO comfortable seats only plastic garden chairs and my husband had sores on his backside. The Rep went back to England on our second day and there was only none English speaking hotel staff to complain to and of course they "didn't understand" We did not even tip anyone as no one in the hotel put themselves out at all The toilets outside were filthy and swimming in water and slippy. The crockery was chipped and there was never enough cups and they were sometimes not washed properly And there was not two glasses the same providing you were lucky to get a glass and not a plastic beaker We would not go there again and would not reccomend it to anyone.

We stayed at this hotel all inclusive we were four adults and one child aged 5. The reception staff were most unfriendly and unhelpful. They tried to tell us that we had only booked for two rooms when we had booked for three! We were promised a sea or pool view when we booked but none of the rooms had these views. The pool area was very slippery and dangerous even when just walking. There were not enough sun loungers for all the guests who were staying. Also not enough plates and cutlery to cater for the large amount of people. One night my husband queued for one hour and a half for a bar b qu ' d kebab!! If these could be improved we would consider coming back again!!
