We have just returned from a weeks holiday at this Hotel with very mixed feelings for the standard of the Hotel.
If you are given accomodation in what is termed the "garden" then don't expect too much from your room. They are very small, damp and dark. At best the rooms are a 3* standard and NOT the 4/5* quoted in many brochures.Hopefully, the extreme amount of building work will finish soon as this can be disturbing.
We paid for an upgrade to a room within the Hotel building, which we rated as 3/4*. Our advice would be to confirm your rooms at the point of booking.
We only read the reviews after booking, which was a mistake. However, to understand the range of reviews you have to have been there. If you are in the garden rooms you will hate it. The Hotel is acceptable.
The food we found to be very good indeed with plenty of choice at all meals. One tip would be to get drinks from one of the bars before entering the restaurant as the table staff are very efficient at clearing the table, but not at asking if further drinks are required.
As my title says, this Hotel is so close to being perfect, but it truly depends on which part of the Hotel you stay in. For a family the beach area is amongst the safest we have experienced. The pool area is well designed, but could become very crowded at peak holiday times. Also, the music can become overpowering.
In summary, if you book to go here and expect 3/4* accomodation and get a room within the Hotel you won't be disappointed. If you want 5* treatment - GO ELSEWHERE!

me and my partner booked this holiday as a last minute deal to get away. as i had already stayed in turkey i already knew not to fully expect 5* out of this hotel although upon arrival i was very surprised at the quality.
we were placed in one of the club (garden rooms) which were very small but nicely decorated with a good view from the balcony. i dont think this would be suitable for a family or older couple but our holidays was for a good time and didnt spend much time in the room.
the maid came and cleaned our room every day and brought us fresh towels and there was an extra option for further cleaning if needed.
the staff were all friendly and we even came back to the room one day to find rose petals scattered over towels that had been folded into hearts.
the pool was clean but too cold to swim in unless the sun was directly above. but would be good in the summer!
there were certain parts of the hotel that were definately 5* and the whole hotel was beautifully presented.
the food was good with a wide choice of different turkish and english foods. some dishes were cooled down but only if people had left the lid of the plates.
we met alot of brittish people there and formed a lively group, enjoying the nightly disco and 24hour bar.
all in all a brilliant holliday. reccomended to yourg groups and couples. for families i woudl request a room inside the holtel as people sit talking outside untill quite late, so the hotel rooms would be quieter.

To give anything below 10/10 would be wrong! The location of the hotel is perfect - far enough out of the town to be quiet yet easily accessible for shopping or a late late night club (0400 ish!)
Food is very good, plentiful and if you like salads you will be in your element with so many different tastes to wake up your taste buds. There is always a variety of hot and cold meat and / or fish dishes and many others to compliment the salads along with soups, cold meats and an abundance of sweets (but remember you are in Turkey and they are VERY SWEET in deed!!) There are also 5 theme restaurants - Fish, Turkish, Italian, Chineese and Suchi - But remember you do have to book on the morning that you want to eat in one of them and you need to book by 0800 or your choice will be limited, but they are well worth it. Some people may say that the service in these restaurants is slow. I think it is relaxed and ideal for your holiday - Why Rush??
The pool is big clean and safe although there are no life guards around, but you will have to get a towel on your sun bed by 0730 / 0800 if you want to be sure in getting one? The beach is small but clean and the Agean Sea is clear and clean and full of fish swimming around your feet! There is a good selection of water sports available although these will cost you extra and can be quite expensive (£50 paragliding) but they are all good fun!
There are plenty of bars around the hotel (some you have to search for but worth finding) were you are able to drink really whatever you want in you 'all inclusive' package. There is a night club / disco in side the hotel main building which is air conditioned and is really good but is very rarely bizzy and there is a out door night club (Blue & White Bar) which is by the pool area which is more popular but still not really bizzy (drinks and entrance charge for this one)
The rooms vary in size and standard and without doubt the rooms in the hotel main building are bigger and better than those in the 'Club' or outside villa type buildings but they are all comfortable and are cleaned every day if you so wish. You just flick a switch which informs the cleaners of your wishes!
The staff in all areas could not be more friendly or helpful and the just want you to have a good holiday and enjoy (Metin, Rio, Inis to name just three). The entertainment / animation team work from morning till night (day off Sunday's) and create a great and fun environment but without being too pushy, and they love the children and really do make their holiday. At night (2230hrs)they create a different stage show each night and is also very good. There are a number of shops within the hotel for your emergencies, but they are quite expensice. There is also a doctor in house
All in all and great place to take your family whatever there age, although please appreciate that the hotel is built on the side of a hill so were ever you go there are steps and in some cased steep hills to climb?
The people who have written bad reports on this hotel have either been very unlucky or enjoy moaning!!
Remember you are going to Turkey - don't expect English Fish & Chips' and Banks's Mild. Be prepared for very hot weather (39 to 44 degree's at the end of August). Go there in the holiday mode and you will all have a 'Great Time'. We certainly did and will without doubt return.

Best holiday yet. The only complaint I would have is the fact that you have to be up at 7.30 if you want to book a table for the A'LA Carte restaurants. Would definitely go again, plenty to do for all ages, great location by the sea and watching the water sports was great entertainment. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. 9/10 and cannot understand anyone who would rate it lower.

Great value for money. Plenty of activities for all. Staff are so helpfull & friendly. At bottom of steep hill, a shuttle bus runs from 9am till 10pm. Sunbathing and relaxing space is so widespread with lots of privacy. Food is excellent, so much choice and individual tastes catered for. Rooms could do with being cleaned more thoroughly but all in all one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Will definitely book to go again next year. Highly recommended. A++++++

If u book with Thomas Cook, in all the pictures they have in their magazine you will find the pictures of the 5* rooms. When we arrived we were allocated to the 3* rooms. Nowhere in the brochure does it state that the rooms shown in the picture are the 5* rooms. The rep was reluctant to do anything for us when she turned up to the hotel on the odd occasion, she would just fog us off. I highly recommend getting the 5* rooms because the 3* have an air conditioning system like as good as an asthmatic blowing through a straw. We did actually get to see a 5* room and it was as described by Thomas cook. Also the all inclusive isnt fully up to scratch. Its ok if u drink vodka and beer all day long. The mini bar in the room is not free and all the items in there are about 3 years old. If you want fruit juice in the morning you have to pay. This is not 5* all inclusive as far as I can see.

If this is a 5 star or even 4 star hotel then I will eat my hat and that would probably taste better than the food at this hotel. The rooms were excellent and so was the location but the food and restaurant were diabolical. The restaurant was like a school canteen with no table service, queues, no beer and food that was at best luke warm. On top of that there were cats everywhere and in the morning in particular, birds flying around pecking at the bread and pastries when nobody was in attendance. All the other restaurants that were advertised in the brochure such as the Chinese, Turkish, Italian and A La Carte were closed so the restaurants in the local town were doing a roaring trade as lots of people went in search of decent service and food that was hot.

Although I booked this as a 5* holiday, whem I arrived I dicovered the accommodation was in the 3* club. The room was large but was far from luxurious. The bathroom in particular needs a refurbishment.
However the location was perfect, just by the pool and all the ammenities, so for the children it was ideal. The rooms were cleaned daily and the beds made, with clean towels supplied daily I couldn't grumble.
The pool was, as you would expect, with as many sunbeds as possible sandwiched around it. If you wanted a bed you did have to make the effort and reserve one with a trusty towel before 7.30. One morning I went for the best ones which meant getting up at 6.00! Although beds were reserved I was surprised how few people actually occupied them in the day. It seemed common practice to just spend 2-3 hours by the pool but reserve the bed all day. We went on a trip to the local Turkish baths one day and didn't get to the pool side until 2.30, which made me feel very guilty about the beds I had saved all morning and not used, but this was commonplace. The lack of people poolside was a bonus as it never felt crowded.
The beach was an alternative, which we tried once. It is made made and although it was pleasant the kids preferred the pool. The water sports were great fun. The pedalo and canoes are free, and nit well advertised but you only have to ask to use them.
In the heat of the day we would retreat to the Spa. It was truely heaven with an ice cold pool and relaxation areas. It made the heat bareable.
Food was fantastic, plenty of choice in the buffet and up to 5 restaurants could be booked: chinese, turkish, italian. The children could eat and drink when they wanted which was perfect in keeping everyone happy.
Staff were nice, polite and helpful.
The shuttle bus into Bodrum made us feel that we could go off and shop with out any hassle. Hotel security was good.

The staff, the room, the bars, the food was all excellent! Even though it was only April, everything was open and the hotel treated us brilliantly. With a normal occupancy of 1300, the week we stayed they accommodated for only 150. This may explain why it was so good. The daytime entertainment program was second to none I have ever experienced. We played darts, water polo, billiards, volleyball, tennis football, basketball etc.. All were excellent. We also loved the free canoes from the water sports, we used them on most days and the pedaloes too. The food was delicious. No problems at all. The snack bar was from 2-3 each day serving burgers that were delicious. This could have been extended, that is the only thing that would have made the holiday better. The weather was even perfect and the hotel provides the most comfortable loungers the world has ever seen on the sun deck. All the staff were really nice in particular the animators who did the evening and daytime entertainment. Also bar staff were lovely 'Orhan' being the nicest. Rooms were lovely and clean and maid service everyday was ok. No fancy arrangements of towels like we have experienced in other 5* hotels but she changed our sheets so we cant complain.
Spa treatments were nice, if a little expensive for an 18 year-old who has not learnt to appreciate a massage as much as ones mother. Sauna was nice to warm up in after the freezing cold sea. The beach was nice, sea was extremely cold though and so was the pool although I'm sure it must warm up in the summer. Night-time entertainment was ok, surprisingly funny sketch shows and dancing was not completely synchronised but it is April, they were still rehearsing it in the daytime so I think the entertainers are new to the hotel for this year, still, they'll conquer it for the summer months.
So all in all a very relaxing holiday if a little to energetic for a recuperating holiday after getting out of hospital.
