We came back from the Limak Lara Hotel last week and I am already trying to book up for next year. The hotel is very big and once you find your way around you see just how much is there. There are 6 al la carte restaurants, we only went to 2 as the food in the main restaurant was so good. 3 of the al la carte restaurants ask for a 7euro service charge per person, not sure why but they are very nice places to eat in so we didn't mind. The whole place is so clean and well organised, no eating by the pool or on the private beach meant that there was a lack of flying things, which was great for me. This is definitely a place we want to go back to.

The hotel in general was perfect the only thing we had to complain about was attitude of some of the staff not very friendly at all my son was 14 and found that the teenage club did not excist as we were told, that being one of the reasons we booked limak, Also a lack of English teenagers.

Top Local Tips for Belek

Old Town You must go into Antalya and see the old town and the views over the bay. Also good range of shops here. Don't rate the Saturday market (which isn't even in Antalya proper).

Money The Euro is KING!!!!!

Antalya Going to Antalya is a must...it's very pretty and lots of Turkish markets to barter in. The old town is the nicest, but you only need to spend half day here. Anymore, and you could run out of things to see and it does get very hot!! If you decide to go ask at reception and they book you a hotel minibus for 6 euros per person which is much better than paying Thomas Cook a heafty amount for taking you there.
