Just returned from long weekend with wife and two kids.
The Hotel is very clean, many pools, SUPERB food and friendly workers.
Just check exactly what is included with the all inclusive deal. Don't waist time on the 'restaurants' the 'Dinning' room is the best. There is nothing to do outside the hotel nor in Antalya, so make sure you have Sunny days to have a perfect vacation.

I enjoyed every second of my holiday there.Even though i was with my family, i made good friends there, the entertainment and animation staff. They were the best, really. They were friendly, kind and helpful. I appreciate most Martin, the babyface member of the animation team. The food was good.I would recommed Atlantis to other people i know. Hope to come again in your hotel.Thank you

We were allocate on arrival when we landed in Antalya and were shuffled off to The Atlantis Hotel in Belek. Never having been to turkey before, I didn't know what to expect of where we were or what the hotel was like, but I was pleasantly surprised at what we had been given.

It took about 30 minutes on the air conditioned coach from the airport to arrive at the hotel. We were second drop off. We had filled in a registration card on the coach whilst travelling so check in was quick and easy. Bellboys took our suitcases and placed stickers on them with our room number on for later delivery (only took about 10 minutes!).

Our initial room had was for 4 people - a double bed, a single, a chaise lounge and a fold up chair/bed, and a large balcony. Minibar and safe are in the room. Safe is €1.50 per day). We actually changed room as we had requested a sea view - no problems at all at reception and within 30 minutes we had our sea view. A smaller room however but there was only 2 of us anyway, so it wasnt a problem. We now had a small balcony and a bay window on the side so our room was really light and airy.

We had a welcome meeting at 8pm the first night with Ian Whiteside, our Thomas Cook rep. He game a wide variety of information and was amusing with it, so nobody got bored with a huge influx of info on a day where it had been mostly travelling!

During the holiday we spoke to Ian on a number of occasions and he was always very friendly and informative. Recommending trips and general local info. He is also a good laugh and joined us on a trip to Antalya one day.

The hotel itself is spotless. With many bars and restaurants. Some where closed but we holidayed outside off season (March) so it was a bit cold and quiet for all the brochure activities to be going - but we knew this when we booked.
Food quality and choice was excellent throughout. My friend doesn't like spicy foods and found plenty of things to eat. I love majority of foods and was suprised at the selection we had each day. Staff at the restaurant are very attentive and collect drink orders as soon as you sit.

The entertainment (Animation) team were brilliant. There were some we didn't get to speak to, partially as a few didn't speak good english - however they perhaps spoke good German or other languages as they did mingle with other guests. Umit and Tania were particularly fabulous and became quite good friends with us in the week long stay. He was a bit of a madman at times and never ceased to amaze us with his none stop energy! It got me tired - how Tania kept up with him I'll never know!

The entertainment team (possibly because it was faitly quiet) had time during the day to actually sit down a chat with you about the hotel sometimes for a good while and we had some interesting conversations with a few - including learning a lot about Turkish history which was absolutely fascinating - thank you Umit again!

The hotel has pool tables, table tennis, crazy golf, mini club for kids, many pools, jacuzzis, pool slides, daytime entertainment in season, morning gym, pool gym, turkish bath, sauna, massage facilities, hairdressers, shops, supermarket, internet cafe..etc etc you name it its probably there.

The hotel is about a 40 minute easy walk to Belek centre but a 10 minute dolmus ride. Sadly with all our many activites we didn't get there however we have been advised its small but worth a visit - if nothing else the only bar in Belek with Sky Sports is there at the Roman bar!

We went on a few trips organised through Ian (Our rep) - the Turkish bath, peel and foam (£15), Antalya Waterfalls and shopping with lunch (£11) and the Pammukale/ Hieropolis 2 day excursion (£39).

Now, we weren't expecting to do the 2 day trip when we went - after all we were only there for 7 days - however it was a bargain and Ian explained really it is a must do - and now I agree. We also managed to miss 2 nasty days of weather which was also a bonus!

The journey does take about 5 hours to get there but we stopped almost every hour for at least 10-15 minutes each time for a drink/cigarette stop. The views are astounding up there not only of Pammukale but of the surroundings mountains and landscapes - truly wonderful.

The price includes not only the coach fare up, but a guide who talks you through a lot of the journey, lunch on the way there and back, a hotel room in a small village near to Pammukale and also evening meal, thermal spa pools, entertainment and breakfast there. We also took in a visit to a Cotton Factory and a Carpet factory with no hard sell tactics which was fascinating. For £39 it was a true bargain and well worth the visit. As an offer was on (Buy two trips, get one free)we thought our purchases were fantastic and really made our week.

All in all, we had a fantastic week with not a complaint to be uttered from either myself or my friend.

Females should be aware that you will come away with an ego ready to burst as many gorgeous young Turks chatted us up (we are not models I can tell you!) during our stay. Some are subtle some are most definately not however they don't hassle you in any way - they respected the fact I said I had a boyfriend and left it at that.

I would recommend the Atlantis to anyone family, singles, couple and more senior citizens as everyone is catered for in one way or another.

My ratings show my appreciation for my holiday there and I hope to return soon.

The hotel is great. I have been twice now and will be going back next year. The hotel is very clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is great, the animation team they have are first class. They keep the kids happy. All day there is pool, games, darts and shows to enjoy. On a night, it is a hotel that when you have been you want to go back to every year. I hope that the animation team are still there next time we go back because it won't bethe same without them.

Absolutely amazing I would definitely go back again.
I myself think that many are moaning only to get their money back!
I could not find anything to complain about... except having to go home!
Everything was all-inclusive so we had not much need for money.
The kids party dancers were amazing... especially the one with the low afro sort of hair (looked a bit like sideshow bob!)....haha my daughter fancied him. Anyway excellent all round. ***** Deffo 5 star!

This hotel is all inclusive.(Dont make me laugh). Full board would be a better description. Initial outlay is low for this hotel but they get you with extras when you arrive. The local drinks are dire. For just a few quid more you can get a really good hotel that is truly ALL INCLUSIVE. Food not too bad. Ice cream only at meal times. Nice pools (scum line around the edges though)
plenty sun lounges.

As a family ranging from 8yr to 59yrs this holiday catered for us all. The grandchildren was occupied all day so was mum and dad and nan and grandad. Molly the youngest learnt to swim 50 metres with out arm bands and so did Nan, Nan went parasailing (2nd childhood) and grandad watched. The children had a great time on stage, so did dad. The drinks were not watered down not like some hols we have been on, and there was food for everyone and plenty of it. The maid service was excellent and the rooms always clean, the bar staff were absolutly great nothing was too much trouble Nan was tipsy on a couple of occasions due to the cocktails served her.
Well we as a family will most certainly be returning ,one of the best and memorable holidays ever had.

We stayed at the Atlantis Hotel for the 2nd time running in two years. This place is the most amazing and brilliant hotel I have ever stayed at and the experience of it all was amazing. The hotel its self is up to an amazing standard and I can't believe how warm hearted all the staff are and how everyone looks after each other. The food at the hotel is constently being replemished and the pools are extremly clean. Everywhere is upto an amazing standard and even the rooms are spotlessly clean. I recommend this hotel to anyone wanted some fun and people with children. I even recommend this hotel to people who go on holiday to get away from kids and like the peace and quiet because there is a large pool made for your tranquility

Top Local Tips for Belek

THE FAMOUS MARKETS Do not get collared into paying for a trip to go to the markets. Belek has a market on a saturday and it is exactly the same, you can jump in a taxi right outside the hotel and will only cost you about £4.00

Tractor trains You must take a tractor train to either Bekek or Kadriye, It only costs 1 Lira and it's fab for the kids!

Undercooked and raw meat Check the meat before eating and if raw/undercooked tell the Restaurant Manager - it is his responsibility to ensure there is no danger of salmonella etc.
