Golfers paradise hotel

We were a party of 20 golfers and each year we go abroad in March for 1 week of golf and this year chose this hotel. This hotel looked after us all week and nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel was spotless at all times, the bar was open all night and our rooms were cleaned meticulously every day.
In the main restaurant the quality and variety of food catered for all of our individual tastes and there options of other fares such as Japanese, Mexican, Chinese,etc.
As we were there for the golf all of our venues were within 15 minutes by coach which was laid on for us.
Money was exchanged in the reception at the same rates as we had in the UK which saved us going to the nearest town of Belek which was 18 euros away by taxi.
The beach was spotless as was the whole outside area. Tennis courts were available with free balls and raquets.
When we first arrived the staff seem standoffish but it seems that they were worried about not speaking good english. Apparently we were one of the first group of Brits and soon they joined in with the jokes and fun.
All waiters seemed to be keen to help which is a novelty in my experiance and the manager is only to happy to speak to anyone with a problem. He will willingly talk to outside contacts and make your stay a happy one.
Our all inclusive holiday was £100 cheaper than last years hols in Portugal and every course was in pristine condition. So book now before the prices rise they won't be this competitive for long.

Top Local Tips for Belek

Shopping in Kadriye If you want to go out shopping, choose Kadriye, and negotiate a taxi. is cheap and convenient. There are a lot of shops with "genuine copy" goods. Made in Turkey of course.

The Kadriye Bazaar The Bazaar is only about 3km away and is easily excessible by "tractors". The city provides these tractors which pull passenger carts holding about 20 passengers to and from all hotels in Belek. The tractors run every 15 minutes and only cost 2-3 Lyra (about $1.50). Compare this to the flat rate of 8 Euros for a cab and the tractor is definitely the way to go. The Bazaar itself is a super-tourist trap. the prices a re inflated, but bartering is accepted (start the bartering at 50% of the asking price and work up!) The Bazaar doesn't conform to usual Turkish tradition (no offerings of Tea, etc) but everyone is friendly. Be sure to go to the Bazaar on Tuesday morning when vendors from outside the area come in and set up stands. The prices are slightly lower at this time and the goods are more varied! The regualr Bazaar shops stay open until about 2300 7 days a week.
