| Just returned from this hotel. Enjoyed stay but not as good as expected. Check in quick and efficient hotel staff generally friendly and helpful. Hotel facilities great but this is a more family orientated hotel and could be termed "Childrens paradise". Rooms clean but small and surprisingly carpeted. As these are not vacumed daily/ weekly then it can lead to a problem with the cleanliness. Safe available in room free of charge but unfortunatley this operates via a key opposed to digital lock which means you have to carry it around with you. We haver previously had safes with digital locks which we have found to be both quicker and safer. Main Restaurant does not cater for the large number of guests and this leads to chaos and stressful dining. Staff are also limited in this area which means tables are not readily cleaned and available. As British are a minority in this hotel there is very little of our cuisine This mainly consists of burgeres and chips. Breakfast is a good meal however, despite the chaos. The speciality restaurants are excellent, unfortunatly you can only go once a week. The booking service is an experience as you have to ring at nine am and as the lines are continually engaged it get take a while to get an answer. Quite often these are booked up by 9.30 PS We went a couple of times to each and was never turned away - RESULT! Animation team is the usual entertaining stuff, but tended to favour males in pool games. It must be said the grounds are excellently maintained and the staff in this area do a great job. The pier is a great place to escape from pool games and noise. Unfortunatly whilst there is a bar there are no near toilet facilities. It is also possible to escape to the sister hotel, kremlin palace. This can be accessed via a gate in the hotel grounds. Unfortunatly for some unknown reason it is often locked. Access via the beach is possible. |
