Wifi in the lobby! Yiihaa!
This is my second stay in 6 months at the Dedeman hotel in Antalya. Beds are still not great. But the really good news is that they added a Wifi spot in the lobby. And for the story, we checked it at 00.30 after a very long day of work and leisure, but had to take a flight 4 hours later to go back to London. An employee from the front desk told us "You have to make a lot of money because you work all the time". I would have never heard this in another 4 or 5 star hotel in Europe. Funny.

Basic service & expensive extras
I just came back from a Business trip in Antalya. if we had to pay the price we pay for a 5 star hotel in Europe, it would have been outrageous. Turkish standards are very different from European standards. I would rate the Dedeman as a 3 star hotel. The staff speaks a very basic english. They are not very friendly either. Internet access is not working or extremely slow. Extras are quite expensive (1 euro to clean 1 pair of socks) and 18 YTL (around 10 euro) for a small cocktail. Good points are the nice sea view of Antalya Bay, a nice lobby where you can smoke the nargile.
