Not so magic!

I dont think Thompson are doing such a good jod with this Hotel now that they have taken over. We booked a two week family holiday from 12th April but when we go to Turkey, we were told our hotel was not ready and we would be staying in a 'like for like' hotel! This was not a good start. After a week of hard negotiating with the Thompson rep we were told we could stay in the Seven Seas along with the other holiday makers who had also booked to stay there. Our holiday rep kept saying that things were not up and running as they were still in their winter season, although we had booked a holiday from the Thompson summer brochure. When we got to the Seven seas there was very little in the was of entertainment as there was no Thompson Team until may 1st. The childrens club was not up and running and only one al-a-carte restaurant. The brochure stated that there would be daytime and evening entertainment. What a joke! It rained for two days and the hotel struggled to organise a game of darts lasting 40 minutes. When suggestions were made by the guests, the hotel entertainment team said they had to speak with their boss before they could organise activities and nothing got done. There were three evenings of entertainment, two bands and a Karioke night were two people got up to sing! The bars shut at 11pm and after that you had to buy your drinks. There was no entertainment at all after 11pm, shame as the brochure had stated otherwise. We will not be going back as we found it very boring and Thompson could not give a hoot.
Great holiday!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The food was good and we liked the Italian a la carte. The Brazilian though was dreadful. Incredibly slow and tiny amount of burnt food provided. Free banana boat was enjoyed by teenage son. Also waterslides and crazy river. Good evening shows.

great little town dont bother to go to far it is a two minute walk from the beach with shops for gifts and all your usual holiday must haves
Going to village shops Dont go out of the main entrance and along the road..go to the beach and turn left just before the beach and follow the path,..it will only take you a few minutes instead of ten!
