We were staying bed and breakfast but the hotel also does a lot of all inclusive. The food was average and although the staff were all very friendly I noticed the hotel provides very little evening entertainment and none during the day. As many of the all inclusive clients are young there is nothing for them to do in the evening but drink heavily resulting in noise all night with little response from the staff. Not recomended for families.

Top Local Tips for Alanya

Stay out of town My tip would always be to stay out of town. There is always shops and restaurants nearby but, the nightlife isn't right on your doorstep. No matter how young you are and how much you like clubbing, you always want some sleep at some point.

To Note... If you're after a good night out go to the Havanna Club - at harbour front. Really good atmosphere. Try to avoid Robin Hood, loads of guys - bit sleazy. If you get sick of being hassled all the time, by shop keepers/men etc say you're front Portugal! After much trial and error this is the language no-one will speak! Hence they don't pester you so much.

Holiday to Hotel Alaiyea Avoid the salesmen at all the shops, they are a complete nightmare, probably that was the only thing that spoilt our holiday. The journey to Alanya takes about 2 hours and can be quite tiring. My only concern was the night flight, I would not travel through the night again, so I would like for travel companies to make more daily flight times.
