Top Local Tips for Zurich

4 hour bus tour of Zurich and Surrounds Walk through the station and along beside it and over a bridge and there is a parking allotment where tour buses leave to see the sights. There is a type of van where you can buy a ticket for a bus tour. We chose a four hour tour of Zurich and Surrounds which took us into the old town, around the University and showed us where the rich live. Then it went up to a gondola which took us up to Felsenegg 2600ft for the views over Zurich and the lake and then back down where we boarded the bus which then went across the lake on a car ferry and then back to the city. This was a pleasant way to spend the afternoon. There are no refreshments provided though.
