This hotel has a great location within walking distance of the train station. Rooms were of reasonable size and very clean. Beds were a bit hard and pillows were flat. We requested a room on a high floor because of noise issues but still were not able to open the windows for fresh air until 4 am when street noise finally died down. Still, a good hotel in a central location for a good price.

Top Local Tips for Zurich
Beware of thieves in the Zurich Main Train Station Don't leave your bags unattended - got a case stolen in Sprungli bakery. Interestingly , the train station's police station is closed on weekends. If your stuff gets stolen on weekends, go to the Stadtpolizei about 10 minutes walk from the station, along the river/lake.
Lake Zurich Make sure you take a boat ride on Lake Zurich. It is a real treat.
Zurich is overpriced Given the limited interest of the city, it is not worth the money. Shopping there is not recommended, I would go, seee the sights, do what I have to do and leave somewhere else asap.
