The room was very clean, as one expects in Switzerland, but still the air in the room made me ill as you back onto every other room with its own aircon unit spewing who knows what. I found myself tossing and turning whereas I was much happier in the Easy Hotel about 1km away though its much worse in terms of facilities its also cheaper. I tried to change to the Seidenhof but they were full. Service at breakfast was snotty by an old bloke who refused me hot water as it was 10:03 and "breakfast is over", even though I had been there for 20 mins. Service at the desk was extremely slow with only 1 person on duty to answer the phone, give tourist advice, check in / out. Someone else I know made an appointment to check out the rooms with a member of staff only to find that person was not there when she arrived. Altogether a laissez faire attitude to customer service. A decidedly mediocre establishment.
