The best features of this hotel are the stunning view of Stanserhorn and the gourmet supper. Every night we had a four course dinner for less than we would have paid in the US! And half of what outsiders pay for the meal.

While the room was small, the stunning view from the balcony more than made up for it. We had a shower in the room and it was clean.

Terese and Peter Brunner are friendly folk and so are their wait staff. Breakfast was a full meal with a cute machine to make your boiled eggs!

The best hiking in the area is just above Wengen around Kleine Scheidegg. The spring flowers were at their peak mid-May, adding close-up beauty to the awesome mountains.

The Swiss Pass gets you to Wengen free but it costs from there up. I highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely go again.

Top Local Tips for Wengen

Bernese Oberland - Amazing Place! The Lauterbrunnen Valley and mountain range is spectacular and Wengen is a prime location as a base to explore this area by hiking, etc. The train is close by and the town offers anything you might need. We loved staying here.
