The reception of the chef(?) and his English speaking capability is excellent. The beds however are similar to the beds of the German Autozug which are the hardest beds I have ever slept in. The rooms are clean but small, especially if you are three in one room. Try to get a room overlooking the Bodensee as the rooms facing the street are not sound absorbing at all.
