Stayed in a group of 6 on company packpacking trek, Best hospitallity by far! rooms very good standard, fantastic views. Otte & his family are brilliant host's, very attentive, serving 1st class food to boot!!. I'll certainly be back!!

Top Local Tips for Murren
June The weather was very good for hiking, but Murrem had not yet fully warmed up for the summer season.
Lovely area for hiking Definitely to the great hiking trails -- maps available at most hotel desks. Also: channel one on the TV shows video cams of the various peaks, i.e. whether it's worthwhile to go up. Late June is lovely for fields of wildflower blooms.
Sledding Rent a bobsled and sled down the road from Murren to Grindelwald - it's a great way to see the valley and you may meet locals pulling sleds uphill to go grocery shopping.
