The location is next to the funicular which rises to the train station from the heart of Lugano. The hotel is in the heart of downtown Lugano, about 3 blocks from the lakefront. It is one of the lower priced hotels in this area. Clean, good restaurant, quiet (except for the tram, which you get used to fairly quickly). Small lobby with a goofy gift shop. Front desk is sort of casually run. Everyone is friendly. Coming by train? This hotel is the easiest to stay at.
