Visitor's Card Part of the visitors tax you pay to be in Lucerne goes towards subsidising entrance fees for various attractions. Your hotel should give you a guide book to the area which they stamp and you can then take with you when you visit musuems etc. The book lists the participating attractions and the discounted price you should pay. You get some great savings this way.

Transport Museum The Swiss Transport Museum is a must! We spent a whole day there. There are lots of trains, boats, planes and even space exibits, plus IMAX films. My husband was in heaven when we discovered a whole room of Formula 1 cars!

Nice city Lucerne is a great city to walk around. There are some museums if you like to do that. Great eating places, lots of bakeries. Histroic things to see. Train travel to just about anywhere is very easy.
