Top Local Tips for Lucerne

Sounds good in the commercials but..... St. Moritz is a good place is you want to Ski and shop in designer stores but this is no place if you are on a budget. There are little to no normal shops in this town, everything is expensive. The roads are dirty in winter from all the expensive four wheel drives going through town. Wuold prefer a smaller quieter town for a getaway.

getting around St. Moritz The main square is higher up than the lake and station. An easy walk without suitcases, otherwise the local bus will take you to the centre of town for 3 Sw. Fr. In the station there is a map of hotels, press the button for your hotel and you get through to them, and can ask for a transfer to your hotel

A hidden gem - Secondo Located in the centre of town is a sensational little restaurant called "Secondo" basically dishing up typical Tex-Mex meals of huge proportions from attentive staff. Simply great and a good escape from the elite dining.
