We stayed here for one night. The hotel is set on top of a hill with amazing views in all directions and the absence of traffic noise is a godsend - the only sound we heard was the bells of nearby cattle. Rooms are dated, but spotless. Food is very good, patricularly given the 2-star rating. Service is nice and friendly. An ideal base for hill-walking and relaxation. Access to the hotel, other than by road, is via a tiny funicular railcar which crawls up the hill to the hotel from the local village - if you are going to eat in the village, make sure the railmaster knows as he will sometimes keep the funicular open later than usual - another charming feature.
