making it memeorable in the Bernese Oberland Most Indian tourists make Interlaken their base, travel to Jungfrajoch peak, have lunch in one of their restaurants, visit the ice museum and go back to india and say we saw the swiss Alps! But the real part goes unnoticed and 'non-visited'. A must is first is to make base in the Alpine region, either Grindelwald, Wengen or Murren etc. Its definitely more beautiful and scenic, and you get to experience a real swiss mountain village. There are many Gondola rides, trekking paths and train connections you could take plus you can sample the very best fondue in the restaurants in these villages!
