trains on time I would say to anyone travelling by trains or bused in Grindelwald to make sure you arrive a few minutes early as they really do leave on the exact minute!!
End of the season concert The last weekend in 2008 in Grindelwald brought the end of ski season concert at Kleinesheidegg, halfway up the mountain to Jungfrauloch. There were lots of happy winter sportsmen and women, the weather was mild, but there was still enough snow to ski and sled.
Great hiking Take the trains to Schynigge Platte for a fun trip there, and great hiking (and an alpine botanical garden) when you get there. Beautiful!
