Restaurants are pricey in Geneva Restaurants are pricey in Geneva. I would recommend attending cafes at big trade centers, they are not so much cost-worthy and the meals quality is excellent
Free transport.. At the airport there is a machine that gives you a free ticket to use on the train into town center, this only takes 7 or 8 mins. When you check in at your hotel you should be given another travel ticket for your time in Geneve and it entitles you to FREE public transport all around the city on buses and trams, its a great service...

The room was average and for the money as expected (no frills).However was very warm (even in October) and could not have the window open at night due to the excessive noise from both the road and bar below.
Service at breakfast was poor having to get own cutlery and having to use cups to drink juice, due to lack of staff setting the tables and refreshing the food. Best advice is to go early or late for breakfast.
Reception staff were friendly and helpful and spoke good english.
If staying in Geneva again I would choose a hotel slightly out of the centre due to the noise and the city has good a good cheap transport network.
