This is a great little family run hotel. The rooms are big and comfortable, the service good and it's all reasonably priced. We've stayed for a week four times and are going back again in 2007. It's about 400m down from the station (by road) and the owner is always willing to drive you and your luggage if the train is your mode of transport.

Filisur is a great centre (especially if using the train) as there are 3 routes (Chur/Arosa, Davos/Klosters and St Moritz/the Bernina) all well within reach for day trips. The walking is excellent - a favourite is a round trip to Wiesen which comes back right under the LandWasser viaduct.

Try it - you'll really enjoy it (but it's quiet which is why our other week is at the hotel DuLac in Interlaken which is also a little gem).
