Very comfortable hotel. Lovely feather pillows. I was on a coach trip from England. They catered for 47 people very well. The room that I had was on the front and very large, although there were people who said they had a small room. However, bear in mind this is a traditional pilgrimage hotel. There is one critisism - the lighting in the bedrooms rooms is very dull probably due to the fact that there are wooden ceilings. Not easy to put make up on etc. The decor, particularly the bathrooms are very dated. A great welcome from the staff and they were extremely nice and pleasant and the food was very acceptable. We had Christmas dinner there and it was great and very tasty.
