I have been is hotel for 4 times so far,
from the first time, the staff were impressed me with their reception and treating us in friendly way.
the room was nice with beautiful view to Alps Mountain.
Breakfast was Delicious.
they are really concern about the customer feedback in order to ensure the customer satisfaction.
it is located in the old part of interlaken which is just few minutes from train station.
it reflects the Swiss traditional style
i strongly recommend this traditional Swiss Hotel. ( Rossli Hotel)

Lovely quiant Swiss hotel

Charming hotel in Unterseen in the Older part of Interlaken. Perfect location as just 5 mins from the train station (Interlaken West) for a 2 star hotel great value, rooms are clean and tidy. Breakfast and dinner good swiss food. Staff are very friendly and very helpful. Book direct with hotel like we did.

I have stayed in the Rossli three times, each time has been a positive experience. The staff were very nice and accommodating. When we arrived after a year's absence, they remembered both my wife and I. It is not fancy but clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was quite good with plenty of bread, meats, cheeses, eggs etc. allowing one to start off the day fulfilled. Nice location, a five minute walk from the train station.

Cozy hotel very near the West Interlaken train station. The atmosphere is relaxed. The owner/s are helpful, kind, courteous and have a good sense of humor.
I discovered I had gone to Interlaken by mistake (in my grand plan of visiting another place) and was a bit upset with myself. The owner calmed me down with his philosophy of life to be taken as it is... Great advice! He proceeded to show me where to go to appreciate the stunning beauty of the region.
I enjoy walking, he sent me on a nature walk. I love mountains (and there are plenty, of course...) and I had a wonderful day going up the Schilthorn.
My room was comfortable, quiet, safe. The breakfast was plentiful and nutritious. The owner played a special song for me during breakfast... I will never forget the attention!
I would stay nowhere else in Interlaken. The price for the accomodations cannot be beat. Enjoy your trip!

Rude Staff best avoided

We stayed at the Rossli on the 23rd March 2008. On arriving we were immediately told that we won't get our baby cot because apparently they were not informed by ebookers the travel site through which I booked. On producing my booking confirmation which clearly stated Infant cot request the hotel manager helpfully suggested that I speak to "my company" meaning the travel site. Anyway after haggling and arguing for one hour they agreed to get us the infant cot. The room itself was tiny, a corner of a converted loft. The passageways were dark and there was no phone in the room.
On returning in the evening we found that our cot has been placed in the room
Breakfast was ok which with the location of the hotel (close to Interlaken West station) was perhaps the only redeeming features.
But the attitude of the people who run the hotel was very rude and generally uhelpful. On asking for a glass of water, I was rudely told off for not asking for mineral water because "in Switzerland you have to pay for tap water".
Overall I would recommend avoiding this hotel.

very old 2 star hotel but , when you compare with other 2 star hotels, rossli hotel interlaken is -2. breakfast was rubbish, nothing to eat..!!

Rush to get out of this hotel

We booked to stay for 2 nights at this hotel but only stayed one night . We can't get ourselves to go back in this hotel. The old guy that was behind the desk was miserable when he found out that we booked this hotel from a website. He told us that the rate of US$136/night is too cheap and that we better off not staying because it could not even pay for the chamber maid. !!!IThe room was not clean, the hallway was dark, no phone in the room, no heater. The breakfast was ok, at least the coffee was good.

It was good hotel but bit old....
we had booked double room but ended up in twin room :(
so hotel manager suggested to pull the beds together...and breakfast was good..
We had booked for attached bathroom, again unfortunately manager informed us that they would charge double the amount for getting bathroom attached room.
But the confirmation we received stated double room with WC attached...hence it was bad experience for us..
We were not supposed to use kitchen for heating food brought from outside and there was no restaurant in rossli hotel..:(
So to conclude apart from breakfast , we were not that happy in residing in roslli hotel.

We were here for 3 nights in February. We booked it on a hotels website as a last minute booking and found that it was one of the few hotels available that met our price range.
Everything about the hotel was adequate (the coffee was excellent). We wouldn't rave about this hotel but it was OK for the price we paid in the middle of winter tourist season in Interlaken.
One of the highlights was doing a day trip to Lucerne on the train. A spectacular rail journey. And we also loved Lauterbrunnen which is not far by train into the Alps.
Everything about the hotel was adequate (the coffee was excellent). We wouldn't rave about this hotel but it was OK for the price we paid in the middle of winter tourist season in Interlaken.

The staff was excellent! The room was great for the price. No lift which was hard for my grandmother. Awesome view and great location. Would definetly go back.
Top Local Tips for Beckenried
Nice Hotel in Interlaken West Interlaken West is a very nice place to stay for holiday with several kind of restuarants and shops around . Hotel Rossli is located with 5 mins walk from Interlaken West Station and it is very easy to access this area. Very valuable place with extreme hospitality!
Train the public transport in Swistzerland is one of the best, so leave the car and enjoy the train, boat to get a full view of the country
Hotel Chalet Oberland Great restaurant courteous servic and serves good food at reasonable prices. Two main courses, one starter and a few beers set us back by CHF 90. I absolutely recommend this restaurant
