Living in Stockholm I normally just pass this landmark hotel by boat on the way to the archipilago. This time I went to a three days international science conference. I was surprised how nice the rooms were. i had a room towards the harbour. The food was totally excellent, which my French, Italian, US and German colleagues also found. All in all the hotel was very much appreciated by the foreign guest. It is not a luxury hotel in the sense that you have many services and stuff but quite comfortable. Maybe some showers are a bit small. I definately recommend this hotel for tourists and small conferences.
