We had an fantastic weekend, lovley food and friendly staff. The hotelrooms were even better than we could have imagined. And the trosa surroundings were superpicturesque.

If you don't pay for a suite at this hotel, you get a tiny room with an even punier bathroom. The lovely rooms they have in the brochure are all suites, and quite expensive.
As for my room, besides being small, it was stuffy, hot and not well maintained. The window AND vent was broken, the shower leaked constantly, the bulbs in the lamps burned out and the door hooks were broken and hanging down sadly. The walls were thin and I could also clearly hear my neighbours talking, snoring and walking across the creaking floors. On top of this there was no air-conditioning and a restful nights sleep was impossible.
I found the service indifferent to hostile. When I tried to get them to fix the broken window, they implied that I was the one that broke it (after 5 minutes in the room). And for the record it was never fixed.
The meals were good though, and the serving staff much better than the hotel staff, although never really warm and friendly. Frankly I was not satisfied with my stay.
