This is primarily a conference hotel, set in extensive grounds. Stay here if you don't want to be in a place where you have to consult your diary to remember where you are! You should ask to be in the main building, though, as the other buildings are reminiscent of barracks. In fact, I think at one stage it was by the Army for training courses. The dinner is good, with each nigh a different fixed menu - but you can opt for 1, 2 or 3 courses. Don't arrive late, or you will find the door locked; your room key will also open the outer door if you want to out to eat elsewhere. (There is a pizza place just outside the entrance to the grounds, but apart from that you will need a car).
