Hot water is absent

The rooms are realy clean, but very small, window could not be opened and they have not hot water! The receptionist sad thet she did not remember when they had it!No swimming pool. The hotel is real budget.

Not bad for a prison

The rooms are clean and have very friendly staff but do like to interupt you when your sleeping about 10 to change your bin. Bed sheets are not changed and the room gets stuffy. There is a small window above the door so its not all bad. There are some fetching see through shower curtains but overall for the price you can't complain.

I spent few nights over there - what can I say - don't expect comfort in Stockholm for less than 800SEK - so if you look on the price and location that's a good deal.Dark room,yes..but you don't go to Stockholm to stay in the budget hotel all the time! Close to the city center and all attractions, good for a weekend trip.

Depressing and disgusting!

Stayed at Vanadis Hotel and Bad for 1 night in a budget room (no window!) due to lack of space at the youth hostels. The room was extremely depressing as it resembled a prison cell. No window, unpleasant neon lights, and we even found some pubic hair on the bed when we arrived. Disgusting. Granted, it was cheap, but it is still way too expensive for what they offer. Every youth hostel is a lot more pleasant than this place. Not recommended!

Vanadis Hotel and Bad is to advise to anyone who want's to spend a few days in Stockholm and need an accommodation on reliable conditions. The swimming pool in the Bad is a great refreshment in the morning !!!

Top Local Tips for Stockholm

Think of it like the best place in London If people advise you about bars such as Spybar in Stockholm, good luck trying to get in. The bouncers will be very fussy about who they let in. Famous people, exceptionally good looking people and those with loads of money will have no problem. A group of lads, half cut and looking tired .... not so lucky! There are some smaller bars about so look around, and try not to get annoyed about the lack of any queuing systems in use, they just don't que out there! Its a mad free for all!
