Amazing Ice Bar
Wow what a great hotel, close to train and coach stations. Doesn't look spactacular from the outside but as you walk through the entrance thats a different story. The Absolut Ice Bar to the right reception to the left and a huge aquarium straight in front with a fantastic cocktail bar behind. Its certainly different to anything I've ever experienced, staff are very helpful, rooms are very modern and clean, slightly smaller than would have imagined for a suite though. Breakfast was the best I've had in a european hotel a huge selection of almost anything you can imagine. By far the best thing for us was the Ice Bar what an experience, which is hard to explain, my only problem is the fact you have to pay the same price for the experience as people not staying at the hotel, approx £10 each including 1st drink. Also to avoid disapointment be sure to book the bar in advance, it always seems to be full and lots were turned away. Would definately go back!

Exchange rate problems
My stay was fine, I will stay again, food was good and location was perfect as a travelling base in and around Stockholm. Unfortunately I was charged for both my colleague and myself. Obviously I was refunded the costs but due to exchange fluctuations I lost out on £22 GBP through no fault of my own. Technically my VISA card was credited the correct amount of Swedish kroner but when converted to Pounds Sterling the refunded amount was £22 less than expected. I was further disappointed that I received no response from the hotel when I queried this.
