Unfortunately my business trip only allowed for 1 night at this beatiful hotel, and as it was business I'm not in a position to say if it reflected good value, but what a wonderful place it is, and the staff were all extremely friendly. Situated in woodland by the edge of a lake with crystal clear waters, the location could not have been better. If only it had been colder and snowy then I might well have tried to use the ski jump that forms part of the roof of one building!!

The rooms and beds were very comfortable, the food delicious and the bar well stocked with a variety of drinks to warm you up - and if that didn't work, take a seat by the roaring log fire or enjoy the sauna and swimming pool.

Plenty of outdoor activities that I did't get a chance to sample, I would love to go back there but don't know when would be best. Winter offers a variety of things to do, but Summer would also appeal as there is a large diving board on the lake that would be hard to resist on a warm day.

I wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful hotel.
