Excellent hotel

Stayed at this hotel for 5 days, the hospitality of the staff was second to none, very helpful and polite. The restaurant was fantastic, wide range of foods, ranging from varios fish dishes, rice, pastas, vegetables, salads, pizzas, soups, chicken, steaks etc etc, you name it and it was there, even beans and chips. Plenty of fruit was also available along with cakes, ice creams etc, no shortage of bread, bread sticks and diff types of cheeses. Breakfast options were also a variety of things such as, fried bread, toast, fried egg, omelette, sausages, bacon, hash browns, tomatoes, beans, musrooms, even fries if you fancied it. The whole restaurant is well maintained, clean and well staffed. Rooms were basic, bed, tv, wardrobe, toilet, bath, shower and sink, very well maintained and cleaned regulary, 'basic' BUT what else do you need. Overall, this is the best run/maintained hotel I have seen in spain. I wont waffle on about how nice the reception/hall area is downstairs as im sure you can see it for yourselves from the pictures you see of the place. Will deffo go back :o)

GREAT HOTEL

My husband & I have just spent 7 days 'All Inclusive' at the Beach Club and we were very impressed with the hotel and with the staff who try extremely hard to deliver a first class service - and succeed. We cannot understand why it is only given a three star rating and feel this could be increased to four. The food at the hotel was excellent with freshly baked bread being produced in the dining room throughout each meal. There was a pasta/pizza bar in addition to the usual salad and hot dishes on offer and these dishes were many and varied. The sweet section was overflowing with a whole host of choices to suit everyone. Staff were very helpful and efficient with empty tables cleared in quick time. Everything was spotlessly clean including the oil and vinegar condiments and HP sauce bottles - always a good sign! Water, tea, coffee, beer, wine, sangria and soft drinks were available on a self service basis at mealtimes. On arriving at the hotel we were not satisfied with our room and asked if we could be moved - twice. Once to a lower floor and again for a more scenic view. Our request was complied with immediately - and with a smile! Whilst it has to be said that the rooms are a little dated everything was clean and all equipment such as showers and tvs were in good working order. The weather during our stay was appalling. It was quite chilly and rained on most days but suprisingly it did not spoil our holiday because the hotel was such a delight with first class entertainment every night. We would not hesitate to book at the Beach Club for future visits to Torremolinos.

Wasn't what I expected

Well for a start, the beds were really bad. One of our beds was as hard as a rock and the rest of them you could feel the springs. The inside pool was meant to be heated and was pretty cold. The food was the same every day. People working there weren't the kindest of people. I don't recommend this hotel for young people when it's out of season. Good thing there was a lovely clean beach, rooms were clean, drinks were nice. My parents were ill and the hotel doctor said they had the flu and gave them very good medication although it may not of been flu, it may of been the food. But overall, I would say it is very good for old people expecially the entertainment, thank you.:)

We love Beach Club Torremolinos

We have brought our kids to TBC 5 times, in 2002-5 and then again last month. This time there were 7 of us in 3 rooms (we brought my eldest's girlfriend too). While the food isn't amazing some stuff is great and the real selling point is the all-inclusive and self-service nature of things. My youngest child was only 2 the first time we visited and they all love getting their own food and drink. Management and staff are very friendly and obliging - after staying a few times at cooler times of the year (Jan, Feb, April and October/November) we know that we prefer the rooms numbered 01 to 15 on each floor because you get lovely views and sunsets and this year we got three rooms on the right side and close together on the same floor. It's only 20 metres from the superb beach which unaccountably is almost deserted out of season. We've had some great family holidays here and my kids were desperate to come back after a 3 and a half year break. We always hire a car and have been to the Alhambra, Seville and Ronda, as well as the Caves at Nerja, Benalmadina and popping into Malaga for tapas, the Picasso museum (really worth visiting) or the Alcazaba (fortress). It's a great base, though we probably only actually went into torremolinos about twice over the years. There are some great seafood restaurants on the beach nearby (our usual haunt was casa paco) if you fancy a break from the restaurant. One last thing - the bathrooms are excellent with great showers and a bath in every room. Most of the staff seem to have been there years so that must say something about the place!

The Beachclub Hotel is a fantastic place for the family. Excellent facilities and location. Food was a little below average and during my stay, more and more people were going down with sickness & dioria bug, including members of my family. Very little information was offered on health & safety although hygiene was above average.
