My Wife and I have just returned from a week long holiday at The Sol Timor I can honestly say that the place and location are fantastic. The downside of our holiday was when my wife had her hanbag stolen from here side whilst we were relaxing on sun loungers beside the pool. We later discovered that this is quite a common occurence. This incident completely ruined our holiday because besides cash,credit cards and other items my wife also had her wedding and engagement rings in the bag because she had taken them off because her hands were swelling due to the heat. If I could of caught this ******* I would now be serving time in a Spanish jail. She is totally gutted and the experience ruined our holiday and it will stay with us both for the rest of our lives. I must also say that the hotel staff acted well towards us after the robbery and let us use their phone to cancell credit cards etc, they also changed the locks on our room immediately after the bag was stolen.

Crap
This hotel is a disgrace. The staff couldn't help you with anything and the photos provided are old. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anybody- not even my mother in law!!! The rooms are old, badly furnished, smelly, the TV only had CNN, the sofa was broken, the food was terrible. Terrible place.....

Absolutely awesome place, hotel basic but perfect views and great for those who just need a base in the heart of it all. I now feel homesick from this place

Good for young people
The Sol Timor was brilliant; the disco was really good too. The hotel was so close to the beach and the food was lovely I will be going back next year.

Great for young people
The sol timor is great for young people, the discos great to make friends. The sea is so close which is a bonus! And the marina is great to have dinner. I went on a boat from the marina and saw dolphins! Looking forward to next years holiday there.
