Please do not stay at this hotel!!! it is by far the worst hotel i have ever stayed in worldwide!! The room was dirty and musky, The food was in insult! The staff were friendly but did nothing to improve the standard of this poor excuse for a hotel,
If you like your food don't go!!

As the title says really - the food was the worst I've ever eaten abroad. Mostly cold and it must have been sitting there for hours without being changed, chips were frozen in the middle and the combination of food put togather was just weird. Not sure if it was because I went out of season but I was forced to go elsewhere to eat. Other people who went thought it was a joke and many complained, although this didn't change much.
Rooms are clean and staff friendly however.

My friend and I have just returned from a stay at Hotel los Arcos. Our room was the smallest in the building, and the only one with no balcony. The staff spoke little or no English, which led to some translation problems for the menu, for example, 'leak cream' was leek soup, and 'croquettes' were deep fried fish paste. The food was truly terrible, including bar snacks- after waiting 40 minutes, we discovered my friend's 5E pizza was made with cheese slices! Luckily, the hotel is just a short walk away from the local bars and restaurants. The pool area is ok with inflatable toys for youngsters, but there were only 2 functioning sun loungers. Most of the staff were friendly, although on checking out, we witnessed a honeymooning couple who booked 7 months in advance, being told that they couldn't stay at the hotel because it was booked up. The gentleman offered an alternative hotel but didn't know where it was, what it was called, and refused to fund a taxi for them! This hotel does not deserve it's 3 stars, it is best suited to Spanish citizens staying for 1 night only.
Food lovers beware

My friend and I have just returned from the los arcos montemar. We stayed for a week on a girly holiday, the rooms are in need of refurbishment but clean and basic. When we went for our first dinner I couldn't believe such food could be served to paying guests. Our first meal was chicken nuggets with baked beans and salad, as the week progressed it got a whole lot worse with packet mash I actually thought was semollina. Another treat was hotdog sausage in white wine sauce. After several complaints we were told we could order something we wanted, though a guest ordered chips only to be told there were none. As for the hotel itself, the rooms were adequate and kept clean and the staff helpfull, though there were only 4 sunbeds for the whole hotel and some of these were broke. I dont know who awarded 3 stars to this hotel. All i can think of is that it was after an evening on the local sangria. If you're looking for just a base and plan to eat out every night you could probably do worse than the los arcos, but as for the food,be afraid, be very afraid, truly.

This hotel is a joke. Its like staying at a Fawlty Towers and it has been given that name by the people staying in the area. Food was rubbish hardly any variety and the food came out in 3 metal containers, underneath was a very poor candle to heat it up and every night you could guarantee there would be chips and fish if you didn't arrive before 7.30 there was hardly anything to eat. Cold rice pudding ice cream and tinned fruit salad was the desert every night.
Friendly staff

We were on holiday (2adults + 7yr old child)for a week and had a lovely time in this Hotel. The bus stopped almost outside and we found it very useful. The room was adequate - not anything to write home about, but it's only for sleeping in! We had clean towels and maid service every day.
We would return - so this speaks for itself.
