We booked this hotel based on the 4 Star rating. We were not told that the appartment section was under renovation and only the completed parts were anywhere near 4 Star. Hotel and agent pretty much said tough and we had to put up with 20 year old room which was dirty and extremely hot. We managed to get moved from the basement to the first floor which at least allowed us to open a window and the new room was less disgusting and more old and dated.

after reading some reviews I was worried but when we arrived at the hotel we were greeted with friendly staff our room was on the 6th floor we could not fault it, it was cleaned every day by friendly staff the pools were brill, food was brill, every thing about the hotel was ace, so all you Brits that moaned and groaned all I can say is stay at home if you got nothing good to say about this hotel

We have stayed here before and it was superb. Now it has gone Adult only that appealed as we appreciate the lack of children now ours have grown up.
We stayed in the Suite on the 7th Floor, which was set out delightfully. Seperate bath and walk in shower. 10 ft Bed Ooh all my own space.
Our room was clean and spick and span, but the Kids room showed its age. It is being refurbished at the moment. The self catering block has gone. All apartments are being upgraded to Junior Suite Standard.
Its location is central to LC and everything is easily reachanle by Taxi or Car hire. The staff could not do enough to help.
Take your booking brochure with you as facilities do differ as to who you book with.
There is Free Aqua Aerobics, Yoga and Tai Chi 3 days a week. there are now 4 pools imcluding the Naturist Area on the 7th Floor.
The Old Manager and Ents Manager both left 5 weeks ago, so it is struggling for direction and its image. The previous Ents Manager made the shows his own, professionally run day and night.
The On site Supermarket has been shut, and Bar Prices are quite steep.
Would we go again, yes but booking direct to save a Third on costs.

We had a great holiday in Los Cristianos - however this was not down to the hotel. We were allocated a ground floor room in one of the apartments which was in desperate need of updating. We dindn't mind the decor of the room but the fact that it was dirty was very offputting especially as I am 5 months pregnant. The bathroom smelt of drains on and off and we had several coakcroach visitors throughout the week which must have come into the bathroom via the vents. The main areas of the hotel were also disppointing - no more than 3 star - with the exception of the Atlantida pool complex which I would say is very new and 5 star. We did not eat in the hotel. Staff that we met were friendly enough and the grounds were well maintained. Would not go back.

Be aware there are two categories of rooms at this hotel. We booked a suposidly 4-star holiday and were allocated an apartment near the childrens pool. The room was dirty, seedy and a far cry from the 4-star we were promised. The hotel staff would offer no alternative room and weren't the slightest bit interested, and just refered us to COSMOS, who unfortunately were of a similar disposition. The good rooms seemed to be allocated to those without children. The reason soon became apparent as the hotel is going adult only later this year.

The hotel was very tidy and well kept. we were made to feel very welcome. the food was great, loved the buffett. the rooms were nice and comfortable. the swimmingpools were brill and there was a section were kids couldnt go. the staff were friendly and helpfull.

This is paradise in Los Cristianos. The staff are great from the entertainment team to the cleaners. The hotel offers a great range of services good food and great bars. The swimming pools are the best in Los Cristianos. Its the place to make lasting friendships and happy memories of your holiday.

Everything was spot on. The pools were great, the food was lovely, the rooms were fab with air conditioning, tv and a hair dryer. Well recommended to everyone and I will be going back next year.

As first time travellers to the Canary Islands we were not sure what to expect but we had a marvellous time.
First of all the Hotel was on walking distance to the beach, (about 15 minutes down hill). There was a free minibus as well, so if walking up-hill was a little too much, the bus took us back to the hotel - great added bonus!
The food was very very tasty - the buffet in the morning served from Full English to continental incl. muesli's, fresh fruit, yoghurts and a number of different breads and crackers even chocolate milk was available!
The evening buffet was even better! there was so much choice, you just didn't know what to choose next. Everyday there were some different additions, like steak, salmon, tuna, hake, paella, and the choice of vegetables was varied as well. Then (if you still had room for desert) there was a selection of cheeses, fruit, ice creams ( 6 flavours at least), home made cakes and every night a flambé, like banana, peaches or small pancakes! It was just fantastic!
As the hotel was adult-only, the overall atmosphere was pleasant, everybody was relaxing and having a good time, - if you wanted, you could join in with arranged entertainment both during the day and in the evening. or just sit by one of the pools, either on the roof terrace in one of the whirlpools, or the large natural pool with waterfall downstairs...
Yes, the rooms could do with a little updating with regards to the décor in the hotel rooms, but it was clean, and the people were friendly and helpful! - We will go back there, for sure!
