Back again...
...after two years. What an improvement in the breakfast buffet! Theres now a huge selection of fresh fruit as well as traditional British-type items: scrambled/fried eggs, bacon, sausage etc.
Dinner menus are still quirky, we were offered "Creaking Onion Soup", which turned out to be onion soup sprinkled with crisp bacon! In view of the thinness of the walls, it would be a good idea to turn off the power to the bedroom TV's at midnight.

Seventh Visit, or was it Eighth?
This Hotel was originally selected from the "Small and Friendly" brochure back in 1995 and has consistently merited that description. Food is simple and plain, unlike the Menu, produced in 4 or 5 languages and always good for a laugh. Well situated for the town centre and RENFE station and an easy 10 minute stroll to the beaches, of which San Sebastian is certainly the most attractive. Staff are friendly and efficient and Reception is multi-lingual. Roll on Corpus '07 when the Flower Carpets will again be the attraction at our wedding anniversary.
