Clean, in the middle of Seville, room opposite the street very quiet, staff polite and helpful, good breakfast, good price, I would like to come back one day.

Top Local Tips for Sevilla

Dona Franqisquita Great restaurant for service, quality and price. Great location (by Cathedral) and great food.

Unbeatable Lunch Bargain A short walk away from the Hotel Derby at Calle Alfonso XII Nº 26 (I believe) is a small restaurant called Peña Hípica Búcaro - nothing fancy, but traditional spanish meals from a family-owned enterprise and I had an excellent Menu del Día lunch (2 courses, drink and dessert) for just €6.50. Hard to top.

Don't get in on a weekend The shops - shopping, travel agents, food stops - are all closed on weekends (earlier on Saturday, and whole day on Sunday). So the town goes to sleep on Sunday - only tourists around. Try to get in earlier and arrange a day tour to Cordoba, Granada or Cadiz on the weekend. Try to stay as near to the attractions as possible, because there's no metro. The cabs are metered but still additional expense - 7-15 Euros from the Railway and 22 Euros from the Airport
