Top Local Tips for Sevilla
Our Experience In Seville. Dont miss the Alcazar, plan the day there as the gardens are lovely to walk around, take a book have a read, there is a coffee shop in the garden, or take a picnic. Plaza de Espana, for the wow factor, absolutely stunning, however go early or late to avoid the hawkers, they just spoil the view. The Cathedral & Giralda worth a visit, as are the plazas around it. Santa Cruz, explore the back streets and plazas around, especially for somewhere to eat, check out where the locals go for authentic dishes and good value. Hire a bike in the Santa Maria park, good fun, this is next to the Plaza de Espana. The Casa de Pilatos was also a delightful place to visit, not on the scale of the Alcazar but a pleasant viist. We went end of February, weather was fantastic, 22-29 degrees everyday, no crowds you wouldnt believe you were in a City. We were there for 4 days, which was about right, enought time to see everything we wanted to at a relaxing unrushed pace and not too long.

A great city for a great Spain experience. I would highly recommend Seville for someone wanting to get the real flavor of traditional Spain. Probably more than any other city in Spain, Seville really gives you the feel of traditional Spain. It would be a great romantic getaway. Make sure to see some Flamenco and don't forget to visit one of the busy tapas bars in the afternoon. It is a must!
