Top Local Tips for Santander

Easy access to Bilbao It is very easy to get to Bilbao if you have a car to visit the Gugemhaim museum. It would take you only 1 hour. And also, you could go to the amazing natural park of Cabarceno, which is excellent if you travel with kids.

Santander in General Beware - dining in Santander starts very late. There are very few (3) restaurants that offer no smoking and very few people speak English. Beautifully clean City and beaches but don't expect fantastic night life. Its a great City for a short break and the beaches are second to none.
