Suprising Gem in Spanish Spain

I had been recommended the town of Santa Pola by a friend after complaining about the endless English sprawl along the Spanish southern coast. I hadn't booked anywhere but after 10 minutes of wandering stumbled across this mid sized smart looking hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and the rooms were much better than the 2 Star status this hotel has would suggest. The hotel was very clean and seemed to run very efficiently. The breakfast was excellent and the one evening that I ate at the hotel the food was superb. I will definitely be returning to this excellent value hotel and fantastic Spanish seaside town with great beaches and wonderful seafood.
