Top Local Tips for Santa Eularia des Riu

Great public transport You can get all around Ibiza on the bus. Frequent services to all of the popular resorts are a must and much cheaper than the boat. Purchase your tickets at the station in most larger resorts prior to getting on the bus is better and the only way some drivers would let you on. You must have a day in Ibiza Town. Walking around the main town has great shops and a brilliant square at bottom of the old town to sit back and listen to buskers whilst you have tapa's. Then a very long upward climb is needed to get up the old town but this is a must (my seven year old thought it would never end) The views whilst on the top are magnificent and the leisurely walke down into and through the old town of little winding streets is fabulous. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT.................

Tour operator medical centres Our daughter had an asthma attack and the rep called the medical centre they always use which is in Es Cana. she said the main hospital is in ibiza Town and full of ravers. So the doctor came- he was lovely and very helpful- gave my daughter an injection but said we needed to go by taxi to Es cana- 15 mins away - to go on the nebulisor. We didnt mind at the time but thought it strange there wasnt anywhere nearer. But we found out First Choice are on comission from the Doctor and there is another medical centre nearer the resort who was recommended to another couple by the chemist.

Buses!! OK, buses in ibiza are really odd, you have to buy a ticket at ticket office, otherwise the driver will tell you off.People do not que at the bus stope, so do not moan about the people barging on in front of you, you will only make yourself misirable!
