We found this hotel very good, staff, food, room, pool and area always clean, staff on duty,cleaning up, food first class, can’t find a problem, that review, was by a winging brit after compensation, everybody on the coach had been there before, like us going again 2006, don’t be put off by the winging brit.

Just recently returned from La Pineda with my family where I stayed at this hotel as all inclusive. According to the brochures and websites it's rated as a three star, however once we arrived I started to wonder what the rating was based on? From the outside it looks very nice and quiet then when you enter the lobby it's very dark, dingy and stinks of old cigarette ends. The receptionists were very uncommunicative even though there was always one person among them who spoke fluent English. Air conditioning was only provided once you rented the remote, and the same with the safe key and lock. (Air conditioning was never any good anyway) Rooms are smelly and not very welcoming. Toilets sounded as thought they were about to explode and the towels were dirty. Luckily I travelled with some domestic distinfectant and set about cleaning the bath room from top to bottom before using it.
