Good service
We got this as a late deal and never having been in Salou didn't know what to expect.
We found the reception staff very helpful and pleasant.
As for the Bar staff, (we were in the apartments across the road)they were mostly young people who always seemed cheerful and willing to help
The cleaning staff in the apartments were excellent, My wife is a cleaning manageress in a large store and she wanted to take them back with her!! The only problem was that their singing left a lot to be desired!
True the food was yeuk I tried it once.
We are trying to get a holiday back in the same apartments this year as we enjoyed our stay last year and I would have no hesitation in recommending the Marinada to my friends.

Very Unfriendly Staff/ False Advertisement
We booked our Holiday at least 6 months in advance & the week before we were due to fly out to Reus airport, we were changed to this hotel.Our travel agent was looking for an extra €200 each (which would be a Total of €749 each for a "1 WEEK" self catering holiday) We refused to pay this as it was the Travel Agencys fault & eventually they admitted responsibility. We arrived at the Hotel where we had a Double Room booked & were checked in by two of the most unfriendliest people ever!! We were then told our Room was in fact not even located in this Hotel but across the Road in a Grubby Apartment Block & instead of having a Pool view from our Balcony like we had requested we had a view of a pot-hole as our pool was literally 2 metres squared. Such a difference than what was advertised in their brochure - we were just lucky we hadn't been foolish enough to pay thy extra. Bad pool area
The hotel is nice and clean, it’s situated on top of all the main shops and nightlife and beaches. the pool area is not so good, as its shaded buy lots of trees and only gets about 3 to 4 hours of sunlight in the afternoon, not good if your a sun lover, the pool also gets very crowded at the shallow end as that’s the only place that gets the sun, and your lucky if you can get a sunbed there! The reception staff and bar staff were very unhelpful, and sometimes even rude. The cleaners were excellent! The food was not that great, we all ended up eating out most of the time!

Marinada Hotel
Just got back from staying in the Marinada hotel for a week so here is my report :
THE GOOD POINTS :
The hotel is at the top of Salous main street (near the caylpso hotel). The good thing about it is that there are no hills anywhere near it as most of the hotels in Salou seem to be placed on a hill (some quite steep). It has lots of entertainment for all the guest, It seems that most of the English live music/singers are over the road in the Marinada Apartments and all the shows are in the hotel.
The hotel is very clean and has an indoor swimming pool, gym etc....
NOW THE BAD POINT :
THE FOOD IS DIABOLICAL AND I MEAN DIABOLICAL. IF YOU ARE SPANISH THEN YOU'LL BE FINE OTHERWISE STAY IN THE APARTMENTS AND EAT OUT!
