Not for Brits
If you go to this hotel you will miss out on what the holiday is all about the nightlife! You can get the sun anywhere on the med but this is not a place to stay if you want some fun in the evening

Hotel Jaime 1
Nice hotel situtated near shops and beach. Only 15/20 minute walk away from port aventura theme park. Entertainment is in spanish and poor. Food from main buffet ok with a good choice---but food from show cooking area was under-cooked. Great indoor pool and spa bath, small charge but well worth it.

Horrible cold food
We travelled to Salou with mytravel on 29 may 2006 for 2 weeks. Got to the hotel, got put in a block which is out of the way which is not stated in the brochure. All the english are put in this block. Pools were really good. The food was horrible. The food was really cold and greasy. Hardly any choice. Would never choose this hotel again as regards the food. Everything else was good. Salou itself is great.

Bad Food, Flies and noise
The rooms were very, very noisy with tissue paper walls - some nights we got very little sleep. No air conditioning not even an extractor fan in the bathroom so everything got very damp. The rooms were just about clean enough. The food was dreadful for all meals and I have never seen so many Flys about. No covers on the food to protect it from them not even a fly killer unit on the wall. Ate out most of the time. Would never use this hotel again because of the above.

Horrible food
Rooms not bad, but your lucky if u get air conditioning, which u have to pay for. The main pool is massive wich is quite appealing. Found the staff helpful. Entertainment at night wasn't bad. But the food is horrible, only used restaurant twice, ate out the rest. Wont use this hotel again because of the food. If that was improved i would rate the hotel 9.
