Excellent 2 weeks.Rooms were clean. The family entertainment around the pool and at night especially for the kids was fantastic ( shall miss supersplash ) the reps were great and worked hard. The food available was excellent and the staff very friendly. Will stay again

Hotel & Rooms clean. Staff very helpful. Food was great. Pool great and very clean. Kids clubs and creche brilliant but the entertainment was excellent. The Thomson reps were great especially Krazy Kate & Tall Paul but the highest praise should go to Israel. His bingo lingo had us laughing all the time. Even my 18month son picked up the winners song but the end of our stay. He always had time for the kids even after a long night entertaining. My daughter will miss him loads. We look forward to seeing him again.

This has been the best holiday I have ever been on. Everything was fantastic. The rooms, food and entertainment. Well done Thompson for a fantastic time.

If you have a family with youn kids this is the place for you. We went for 2 wks at the end of Aug05 and everybody was deprressed coming home. Hotel was very clean, had excellent, friendly staff and the restaurant food was exceptional (choice, quality, heat & presentation). A special word though for the entertainment...Israel, Ali etc are undescribable (find out for yourself!) and there are plenty of activities (for young & old) to get involved with. Every one we met said they couldn't fault it & will be going again, that's the best review.

This started as the worst holiday ever 1 hour before we were due to leave my husband had a crisis at work and couldn’t travel with us so it was just me and the kids arrived at hotel apartment excellent 2 bedroom loads of space and really clean we had gone self catering but it was so cheap to upgrade we went to half board food excellent the entertainment was first class and although I was on my own Israel and Alison manage to include you in everything my children had the best time ever.

I went to the Avenida Park Hotel in September last year and I can say there is so much to do you will never have to leave the hotel. The entertainment was brill, there is a lot of things for children to do, like swimming pool and a park a football sand pitch mini gold arcade shops pool tables ice-cream sweets in the shop the is activities in the day for the children and at night for the adults. So if it was up to me I would give the Avenida Park hotel a rating of 10 over all so I hope my review will make you go and it is a very very good hotel thanks.

Booked as last minute hol thru teletext, via Thomson pricebreaker so would be allocated 1 out of a choice of 3 hotels on arrival. Pleased to get Avenida as apartment much better than 1 room for 2 single women. Have never been to Salou before but the hotel was very nice. Very helpful staff, lovely clean rooms, brilliant power shower too! Downside was we were by the main road so was bit noisy at night. Good food, nice varied choices! I am a fussy eater but always found something! Lots of lovely fresh fruit too and a toaster that toasted the bread the first time, some hotels in the past you have to put it in twice! Very nice waitresses, always there to take your drinks order and clear the table as soon as you had finished. Lovely swimming pool too, kids one end and adults in the bigger half, which was appreciated! Only complaint about pool was the mats for the sunbeds were never available, the early birds getting them, and the usual 'chuck your towel on the bed' and disappear so sometimes not enough beds to go round. Entertainment good, the nights we watched. Snake show was brilliant, snake man did fire-eating and had huge snakes which he put round peoples necks if they were brave enough to go on stage (and yes, I did!) Hope the photos come out! All in all, a very nice hotel, would thoroughly recommend it to anyone, singles or families. Plenty of nightlife outside the hotel within walking distance. Bar staff very good too, nice to have your drinks brought to your table by the waiters, very efficient. Would definitely go there again.
