Top Local Tips for Salamanca

Art Nouveau Museum If you like Art Nouveau, there is a small museum just down the street from where we stayed, that is worth an hour or so of your time. It is full of photos, posters, statues, dishes and jewellry. There is also a great souvenir shop there full of beautiful replicas. Just above the museum is a gorgeous area (I'm not sure if it has a name). It is all old churches, stone buildings, cobblestone streets, and a gated park that looks like a small botanical garden with panoramic views out over the city. Just let yourself get lost around this area, it is so tranquil and pretty and clean.
