We have stayed here twice and on both ocassions the quality of everything from the food, to the swimming pool have been of the highest standard. Lovely staff who take a genuine pride in their hotel.

Top Local Tips for Ribadesella

GO FOR A WALK Ribasesella is divided into two halves on different sides of the river: the old port (bus and train stations, most shops and restaurants); and the beach promenade. There are hotels on bothsides. IN THE TOWN: the Tourist office has a leaflet in English with two self-guided walks, one on each side of the river. But even if you have not got the leaflet the walks are pretty obvious: on the bach side, go along the promenade and then come back through a reclaimed marsh now park, a few streets back from the beach. On the town side, potter around theolder buildings until you find the gradual ascent to the view point (Guia chapel), then descend the steps and walk back along the front.
