Ideally situated overlooking the Plaza de Iglesia and just two minutes walk from the centre of town, the Hotel Monopol is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday. The hotel is a tourist attraction in its own right. Front of hotel room on the 3rd floor is perfection. We are returning in May for our fourth visit.

We booked the Hotel Monopol through Thomson and had read mixed reviews. We were pleasantly surprised and found the hotel most convenient. Our balcony overlooked the Town Hall Square and we spent many happy hours 'people-watching' there. We were B.& B. only as we enjoy eating out - the breakfast was buffet-style and could perhaps have been better. Otherwise the hotel was perfect for our needs.
