Below Expectations
Hotel stuck in the seventies, but not cheap, location OK but not a holiday resort, only two small man made black volcanic sand beaches and a small harbour. Lido Martianez to a design of 40 years ago and at an extra charge for entry. Menu/meals in hotel absolutely dire. Buffet style service allowing food to dry out, trays were then remixed giving dried up bits of food mixed in with normal food - eg very unappetizing scrambled eggs or baked beans. Meat (veal/steaks) so over cooked that you couldn't put a knife or fork through it - better suited to soling your shoes! Chips so soggy that they just stuck in a big lump after being placed on your plate. Desserts very limited eg: a variation on coloured gelatine with what was supposed to be fruit mixed in, also a "whipped cream cake that varied only in the colour of icing (red or green) each night. Restaurent staff generally miserable and unhelpful. Coffee tea and fruit juice only available at breakfast, not with or after your evening m...Read more

Did not meet brochure discription
Very poor quality service, not enough information given regarding hotel facilities, entertainment poor, and worst of all was the quality of the food. Most mornings breakfast was inedible and my evening meal was chips, tomato & a buttered roll and they only seem able to do rice pudding (salty),jelly with different fruit or sponge cake with cream and various coloured icing. Not very exciting. I expect better than this for 4*.

Friendly staff ,cleaniness good
Having stayed at hotel for 26 years, there have been changes some, good some bad. What has not changed is the friendly atmosphere and staff friendship. The room service, clean linen, excellent food covers all nationalities. Hope to visit next year.

Very Good Hotel
Have just returned 28th April from this very well run hotel have stayed here 6 times and can’t fault it at all the staff really make you welcome have met some really nice people during my stays here and still keep in contact with some of them the hotel is in an ideal place. The entertainment is mainly geared up for the Spanish but after all, it is their country but will keep going back.
